Good buy, Greg. I picked up a little TD bank a couple years ago ($15, say) and saw a lot of the Doepke models for sale for a lot more–and often looking much the worse for wear. There does seem to be a market for them.

Thanks Larry.  That is exactly what the plate on mine says.  In talking to the mechanic that works on my Mercedes, he told me the chassis mine is on is probably a 66 VW.  The engine has a plate from BAR saying it is a 66 engine.    Car is titled as a 1980 though.  Creating all kinds of havoc trying to get around the SMOG requirement here!!!

Easiest thing to do is take them to a front end shop. They can press the old ones out and the new ones in in short order. Or if you know someone with a press you can do it yourself. Be careful.
