Paypal payment sent to Bill for two. My Chevy/MG hot rod has a badge bar, and I’ll get one for the London Roadster.

Well the car won’t be ready but I decided I’m going anyway. I need a long break and a road trip to this show will be just the ticket.I know I’m a late comer but I had a glimmer of hope that my ride would be ready by then so I was holding out to see if I could drive her up. No such luck.I’ll likely arrive sometime on Friday and would like to p…[Read more]

Thanks, Randy. Bridget has but 6 fuses, so I think any new panel will probably expand the number. She’s good to go for now though. It was a hot wire into one of the fuse blocks–too much wire for the hole, maybe, so probably a good thing to split that one into two or more fuses. I’ll get to it when I redo the dash. What speedo do you have, BTW?…[Read more]

I think you probably have a problem with your fuse panel. I had to replace mine once and couldn’t find the exact one so I had to put in two smaller ones, in series, in order to house all the fuses. By the way, I finally found a suitable mechanical trip-reset VDO speedometer on Craigs list but had to enlarge the hole in the dash board a bit to…[Read more]

Looks quite similar to a Jaguar-engined “special” sold out of the late
Ted Leonard’s collection a couple years back. The front was mostly SS
100, in my judgment. But I couldn’t make out the back. now I understand.Leonard’s early ’50s “Special” (last seen in France, circa 2010):
Atalanta 1938 LeMans entry (V12 powered, I believe):
BTW, I believe…[Read more]

I think this is the motor I got–AFI has one that looks like it but only an 80 degree sweep. This one is 110 degrees and that makes a difference; I can get the blades to park nice and high on the windscreen and still wipe well past vertical. Price should be $60-$70. You’ll see them listed for $130, but no point paying that. This one is also…[Read more]

I was thinking the same–but on the hub side. Looks like welds. Looks like could be ground off and the wheel flattened…

The stainless wheel Ed posted is nice!My only question…how are the spokes attached to the rim? Lot of pressure there in our non-power steering cars.
