Thanks Larry, I think that I will pick up the 8 spokers because they are pretty cheap and also because I can’t afford to even think about the wires that I would like.  (I really don’t like my el-cheapo plastic wire hubcaps even though they do look pretty good.) 

 Roy, Look in Carolina Bob’s photo gallery to see a TD with 8 spoke wheels. Sounds like a good deal to me.

There was a member with  nice car with those wheels and a roll bar. I think it’s a neat look, though those panasport/minilite-style wheels came in the ’60s and were not “period correct” for TDs.

 Dan, That’s a great car!!!Also the front engine MiGis are quite rare. I would love to add it to my collection but garage space and bank account are not allowing for another TD at this point.Best of luck with your sale. Your starting price seems reasonable to me especially since it is not your average replica.

Called the hotel to make reservation and was referred to a “Christy Miller’s” voicemail. She’s in charge of marketing and reservations for those rooms go through her. She is off until Tuesday, 12/27.

Okay…question for you folks. I won’t even be close to having my TD even driveable in time for Carlisle. Would I be abvle to get in on all this even if I was coming in my Chevy Silverado or my Ghia? I’d like to go and should be able to make it this year.

Roy, thanks for the tip.  I was going to ask my transmission shop guy.  He’s got lots of my $$$ thru the years, hoping for a little free advice, he will have “Audry” is the early spring for a check up anyway.
