Well, they got back to me. Not in full production yet, and when they are the version that would accommodate our TD replicas would run $1,200 — plus shipping.
Scratch that. -

I’m envious of any of you with a shop or garage. Way easier than a back yard.

I just want edsnova’s garage. Wow 10 to 12 car. I have a 3 car attached and was thinkin about building a 24 x 36 in back sometime, but gee how big is a 10 to 12 car? Bigger is always better, right?

Check the gasket on the underside of the cap. It may be work or worse….missing!Other than that you’ll just have to change the cap.

My guess is that you are talking about the hose that goes from the oil filler to the air breather (filter). Usually there is a small nipple on the bottom of the air filter that it just pushes on to.

Hi Greg, before we had air pollution controlled
cars they had road draft vent that went from the oil cap down toward the road an angle cut pipe using the forward movement of the car to create a vacuum past he pipe and lower the crank case pressure in the engine block. some time in the late 60’s crank case vents went to the air cleaners the be…[Read more]

I have had no problems at all. I live in NC and the winter weather here is not so bad that I ever leave the car on the dollies for more than a month or two at a time. These inexpensive dollies are very sturdy and no, I have had no problems with the tires taking a “set”. I really didn’t think that flat spots were much of a problem as with the…[Read more]

Great money saving idea Roy!
The only concern I would have is deformation of the tires. Radials do flat spot. Which is why the car dollies have curved bottoms. And for long term storage it is recommended to put the car on jack stands and take all the weight of the tires.
Have you had any problems with the weight of the car resting on the inboard…[Read more] -

These are the ones that I use: http://www.harborfreight.com/movers-dolly-93888.html
They are just furniture dollies and about 1/2 price of the ones made for autos. I found that they work great and I like the extra 5″ clearance that I get under the car. I also can use them inside the house whenever necessary because they are carpeted and flat on top. -

The insulation that Ray10 linked to from Whitney is the best for the $$ that I have used. Great stuff.
