Bill,
Try these guys…
You can search by the profile of the extrusion.

This is just one example. Google “rubber extrusions” and you will see a bunch of manufacturers. Most have some way to view the avaiable styles.PMOSSBERG40882.4902546296 -

The car on the trailer is the BCW I got from Mark [Pink MG]. It was taken just after Mark arrived at my house. That’s him at the rear of the trailer.I know he will never forget that day. About ten miles from the end of a 500 mile tow,his transmission blew. He only had first gear left when the picture was taken.

Rob,
I’ve decided to replace my cut Ford springs with the 275 lb springs as you posted above. I have all winter to get the springs changed, top installed and the finishing touches completed. If on schedule I’ll be able to report on the clearance and ride in the spring. Thanks for the timely input.
Did you install uncut springs before deciding to…[Read more] -

Also need to get about a 3 foot plush Snoopy with scraf, flying cap and goggles. Put him in the passenger seat and go for a drive. Everyone will be following you around.

I’d get the Snoopy combo if I can get the goggle lenses changed out to my prescription. Otherwise, the goggles are useless to me.Getting older every year…

Ricardo: I’ll have to try that, although before I put them back on for real I need to find a source for some replacement rubber. Almost every piece on or around the windshield and the windows is pretty much a historical artifact at this point — no flexibility or water seal at all.

Paul, No offense is taken. But, the shot that Ed was talking about using is “real world” raw and unedited: no tricks, no photoshop, no nothing.
The “2 wheeler” shot that Ed posted as a motivational poster was edited to blur the background and simulate motion and also to remove the floor jack. The rear wheel was actually spinning because the…[Read more] -

I like the over the hood shot.I like Roy’s shot and his technical skill with the computer. But I’ll always take the real-world shot over the shot “created” after the fact.Roy, that’s definitely not a knock. Just my humble opinion.

The more I look at it the more I like the shot of Roy in his car with the scarf. I like it better than my October shot, which shows the hood of my car and the back of Dale Schumacher & his wife as they head into a tight turn. I think that Oct. shot is much better in concept than in execution. We were never able to get a good, clear, well-zoomed…[Read more]
