I think I am going to take it to a friend and see what he can figure out. Talked to one guy who charges 65 an hour. Not going to happen! Wrong economy! I’ll keep on it anyway and thanks to all of you for your help!

I think they’re opposite-threaded so that driving forward will tend to tighten them.

September is looking good for this. Mid to late, I’m thinking. Greg the Delaware guy says he’s up for it (should, too, since it’s only 40-50 miles for him).

Valves? valve springs?reaching here but I do remember a Car Craft big block chevy build from back in the day. They rigged it up nice, big cam, the works, unleashed her on the strip and the engine laid down at about 5500. Should’ve revved to about 7k, 7500. Turned out the cam mfg had shipped the wrong springs. I know, long shot. I’m still thinking…[Read more]

Don’t know about torq, but you always tighten to the rear. loosen towards front. Drivers side is not interchangable with the wifes side.

I breathed enough CO2 from VW heater boxes.
I’m going to do it the hard way. I want a front engined car.
Thanks for your work on the badge. It goes right next to my microcar-minicar badge. I will have a very interesting badge bar.

Not fixed!!! Dual Empi 34’s. Flamethrower 009 no vacum advance. I set the timing at 0 tds and it ran terrible. Now I adjust it where it sounds right. This engine is not factory and appears to an after market mill or 75 and up FI but not sure. When I push the pedal down the carbs throttle are maxed. The fuel system is clean and I watched the fuel…[Read more]

Dan, would you post a pic of your wheel covers.
I have the real deal wires in a knock off rim but they need much TLC so I was thinking of running wheel covers till I can get these back in the shape they should be. I’d like to see what you and others have done.
Thanks,
Tom -

Detroit cars you buy all at once. Kit cars you buy one piece at a time.
I just bought a TD.com grill badge.
Now I just need the rest of the car.
You have to start someplace.
It’s a pretty badge.

The speedometer cable should simply unscrew from the back of your speedometer.

Wow! Roast Beef with Yorkshire Pudding, Scotch AND Guinness? When would this happen? I could be talked into it, possibly, if I can risk another long distance trip. Maybe I’d tow it behind my Odyssey if I can get the odometer disconnected for that trip.

I’m pretty sure you can order any color that you would like for the same price. It didn’t cost me extra when I ordered my products. It might take a little longer because she’ll have to change thread in the embroidery machine, but a few days wait would be worth it. She provides a professional product that I’m sure you’ll be happy with. She’s be…[Read more]
