Wow Ed,, That dash is looking great!! It’s the first one I’ve seen using the MG center . Looks really ”British” . The more appropriate size speedo and tach are a very nice touch.

Doug, Good to hear of your successful conversion and that it’s performing well. I read the link and noticed you are using a clutchless 4 speed transaxle. Is it necessary to shift 1-2-3-4 when starting from a complete stop? Is it necessary to shift to a lower gear when climbing steep hills? Is it more efficient to use lower gears for slower…[Read more]

Beautiful here in Baltimore for the last couple days. Dried clothes on the line today, cooked hotdogs on the grill. Spent most of the afternoon in the garage, messing with Bridget’s interior bits. Got some new carpet, new instruments. Started my new dashboard project. Installed the center cluster, though not wired up yet.Looks fairly TD-ish, I think.

Nice one, Doug. Like I said before, your car is totally cool. Stay in contact.

I grew up in minnesota where winter is 6 months long! I traded that for earthquakes and sunami’s! On these beautiful spring dats it all seems worth it. i have had more furn with my migi than any other car i’ve ever owned (over 100). I sold my MGB after it just sat in my garage for a year. I don’t even own a top for MiGi, just the tonneau.
Have…[Read more] -
