Just curious as to how many we are going to have there? I’m really looking foreward to it. I have my new dashboard all but done, and am working on several other items. It’ll still be a work in progress. but I assume that that is the case for most of us—always something else that we want to do!

Yeah, hanging weights from the edges will work wonders, esp if you put it the warmest spot in the house. If you rush it by putting too much heat (like a heat gun…) it might rip or wrinkle. Ask me how I know
You can use a hair dryer and use it sparringly over a long time (think weeks, not days) and keep both sides hydrated. A couple of weeks w…[Read more] -

yes larry ,the bows were attached and in a zippered covering with the top. im thinking some summer weather might make a difference. surely im not the only one to have this problem.

Are the bows the correct height for the top? I know the top material shrinks over time but 4” seems a little much.Do you have the front bow slide positioned as low as it will go on the rear bow? Last,is the windshield mounted at the correct angle? By tilting the windshield to the rear of the car you can get the two closer together but if you…[Read more]

my fiberfab top has been in storage and in nice shape, however it will not come close to fitting(4inches short). the snaps line up so it appears to be original to the car. does vinyl shrink that much? i have it snapped with the bows loose but cant push it up . any ideas?

If those wire wheels are as good as they look in the pictures, they are worth at least half of the price of the car. The wireing looks scarey in the pic of the battery box but could be a not too big of a problem With these cars ,you just keep thinking of all the fun you will have building, adding your own personal touches and driving it when it’s finished.

IM-pressive. I’d love to know a bit more about your e-brake relocation. BTW, I fear your third picture is what Bridget’s going to look like this time next year.

I pulled the fuel rail and yes, #4 was not squirting. I put it on the bench and the coil is NFG. So new injector. ($100.00 bucks each at the local parts store) But I found an on-line dealer (Who’s local to me) that has a set of 4 for $98.00. That means between fixing the electrical at the foundry I’ll need to find time to run down and get a…[Read more]

Man-o-man, that makes me feel like a real baby for complaining that one of our three daily drivers does not have heated seats! My wife’s and my daughter’s cars have them. Mine doesn’t.
