luvmytd,
I guess up here in Georgia we’ll use the same winterizing technique as you down south in the Villages. Not much use for heat during the winter. -

Well, each fuse protects one circuit.
It’s more that the equipment will determine the number of circuits you need.
Have I sent you my Duchess schematics? -

Perhaps I misunderstood, but I think Luvmytd was referring to swapping the tonneau cover for the top. That was his winterization process. Seems like I remember him driving it during his winter vacations before he retired.
Happy Thanksgiving to all. -

Luvmytd….
I have to say, and with all due respect…
Your post was just downright cruel to to those of us that live in the north.
Altho, I will say, the first time I ever drove my Duchess on the road, with “borrowed” license plates from my daily driver, I got snowed on!
Take that you “year-round warm weather” friend!

Allen, I’ve been watching TDs on ebay for about a year now and I think anyone getting even $25k for their car is lucky.$15k is more like it, from what I’ve seen. For a possible deal, check this listing. Under $12k ‘buy-it-now’ price for a legit MK-II should be sweet. Surprised no one’s grabbed it yet.Yeah, it’s missing a fuel pump. And yeah, it’s…[Read more]

Geoff:There’s me, about 20 miles north of Baltimore. There’s Dale Schumacher down closer to DC. Not sure where exactly, But I think NOVA. He’s got an awesome VW-based TD with wire wheels. There are also about half a dozen Speedser guys within hailing distance. They’re good people too, and especially tolerant of us MG guys. Can we count on you at Carlisle?

KNow what you mean Geoff. There is a former/inactive member 20 miles from here but don’t have a contact email, address or phone number. It’d sure be nice to talk with a member close by over coffee.
