Ed , It was no inconvience at all. Now if I have to replace my water pump, I know to allow extra time because of all the extra complications. As is the case quite often on this forum ,one member’s problem gives all of us an opportunity to learn the solution and know just what we may be facing down the road.

I used the braided stainless steel from the plumbing department of Home Depot. It was on flexible water supply lines for sinks and toilets. Nice dress up for less money. I used the entire supply line with the wires run up the pipe. The end fitting was polished stainless steel.

Thanks to all for replies. My GM Service Manual arrived over the weekend
and it has better illustrations, plus I have looked closer. Now I see that the
lower cover is more extensive than I thought. When removed it will give
access to bolt heads. Hope I didn’t inconvenience anyone.Ed

Wheels are at the mechanic shop and I will have the tires mounted and installed on Mrs. Peel on Tuesday.
So baskets will be up for sale right after the new wheels are in place. As mentioned 4 are in good shape, 1 is poor.
I will entertain all reasonable offers -

I’ll have to cut the list back to two cars ,one is a Chevette based car.
There is a Ford based on the Kansas City Craigslist and one on the Dallas Craigslist.
They show up on a site that I have proggramed as a favorite in my computer but I cannot link you directly to them.I’m not too cp savvy. -

Hi and welcome to the forum.
In addition to the ordinary used car items, pay close attention to how well the car is assembled ,Notice if it appears that the builder took time and effort to fit and finish things properly or if things were thrown together in a sloppy manner. If you enjoy reworking things, you may get a good deal in a car that so…[Read more] -

Hadn’t given much thought to selling price……..How about $50 each plus actual shipping, one needs rechroming or painting $25 plus acutal shiping. I will split them up but minimum of 2.
They new ones should arrive Friday and I will have them mounted next week (wk 8/1). -
