I was finally able to order my badge…Super.
But no donation possible…so I will send money by mail to Frank.
I received very usefull information and help from this Club and it is just normal to give money once a year…why are you not charging 10$ or 20$ to be a menber of the club ? I think everybody can effort that ?

Paul, no matter how hard I tried, the PayPal link would not work for me either when I tried it.
It took me to PayPay, but would not allow a transaction.
Andre, give Bill a call…he’d be glad to sell more badges.

And once you find your VIN, here is a VW Type 1 VIN decoder table

Andre,
There is an access panel under your seat to access the connection between the shift rod and the front of the transaxle.
The VW VIN is stamped into the chassis right above that access panel. -

Hey Ringo, I need to dig through old stuff to figure that out.
Andre, no I didn’t check my id tag yet. -
Steve Crites replied to the topic Duchess in the forum General Discussion 17 years, 5 months ago
PaulYou’re right about the Duchess vs Grand Duchess. I checked the old brochure I have and it is only referred to as the Grand Duchess. There were option packages that had names such as royale listed but no Duchess or Grand Duchess, only Grand Duchess. My bad
My Duchess is supposedly made in ’84. What year did CR make the switch in owners?Ringo - Load More
