Picture would help. On my car the cable passes through a 1/4″ aluminum sleeve about 2″ long, and is secured with a screw through that. The sleeve then attaches to the carb with a ball joint, and thus the whole sleeve moves when you press the accelerator.. I would think NAPA should be able to get you a similar setup.

Just a note on some measurements between the two cars.  This may be old info for some, but here it is anyway.  The BCW hood is 3 inches longer than the original.  This seems to be accounted for by the rear fenders being moved closer to the doors by 2 inches.  This moves the front fenders forward by about 2 inches.  The other inch is found in th…[Read more]

Time will tell.

I was trying to figure out what to wear on my head. I have shoulder length hair that obviously didn’t stay in a pony tail, baseball cap blew off within minutes.  Thanks for the tip on the snoopy hat. 

I am at my dr appt & plan to leave at 11. It will be closer to 1 than 1230
