Sounds like you are new to the joys of auto machine work (aka shade-tree mechanic tinkering). My very best advice is to never do 2 things in a row to your engine without starting and running the car in between. Looks like a Glory Days sports bar is right off Rt 15 in Frederick so will post that address shortly.

Wow! That looks like a decent price on the “Snoopy hat.” And those split-lens “RAF style” googles are temptingly cheap.
Temptingly!But I am hereby recommending to all that, if you plan to actually wear the goggles while driving, spring for the genuine Halcyons. They are three times the price, yeah. But they actually fit comfortably. Bikers swear by… -

That Flat 4 is about the closest thing to an original TD wheel you can get without modding an original TD wheel.

Reminder that Britfest in Succasunna NJ is this Saturday, May 7th from 9:00 to 3:00.

I wear glasses all the time. Mine are not enough for me to avoid the sting of the wind when driving open. I may just have sensitive eyes though.
Steve: right: Proper RAF goggles and a righteous leather pilot’s helmet are the only way to fly. I might even buy a summer-weight one. -
