Want to sell my classic motor carriages MGTD with a 2.8 V6 and 4speed trans. Never had water in the radiator or gas in the fuel (12 gal.) tank. Long headers, I know it runs had it running for 15 sec. just to see if it ran. I have lots of pictures, all it needs is time to assemble, everything is there that you will need. I can text or email p…[Read more]

I like that idea. No need to remove the tonneau when the top is required. Get less wet when it starts to rain

Hear is what I did, I wanted to have the convenience of having both the tonneau cover and the soft top together, but that we’re using the same snaps. Across the back on the body is the male snap, then on the tonneau cover I removed the cap of the snap and pop riveted a male end to the top of the tonneau. Now I can just snap the top to the ton…[Read more]

Here are the photo posting instructions provided by the great Ed Ericson.
First you go to your own thing. Upper right corner it should say something like “Howdy, Happy Jack.” Click on that and you get a drop-down menu. At the bottom it says “media.” Hover over that with your curser and you should see another drop-down menu with “albums,…

Hi Everybody!
Doug Willis here, been many years since I have been active here, I go by STG-inc. here in the forums.
I have a project (MGTD) on a VW chassis that has stalled for several years. I have had both knees replaced during my absence here and there is no way that I’ll ever be able to physically get into this car again. That’s why the p…[Read more]

There are many notable woman such as Madam Marie Curie, Golda Meir, Rosa Parks, Helen Caldicott, Ruth Bader Ginsburg , Barbara Walters, and Gloria Steinem to name a few.
There are however many more woman who go unnoticed in the global consciousnesses. Emily King was one of them. I first became aware of Emily as a consequence of my purchase of…[Read more] -

Good on you, Dereck.
I have a rear-engined BCW and they’re a lot of fun to tool around in, and a really good base for making a passably realistic looking TD replica.

A fuel regulator was added to reduce pressure from the mechanical pump. Also, the crankcase ventilation was improved.

The alternator pulley was changed to a Porsche 346 to increase the fan speed by 28% to provide more cooling. The fan was changed to a balanced/welded one.

I have an early FiberFab Migi and the grill is molded into the front pan as is the one in your photo. It is body color, not chrome, again, as yours. The seat buckets are also identical to my MiGi. Dennis P.

That’s looking great Bill.
@dennis-p point of clarification: Bill’s is a GT style wheel. “Banjo” wheels have wire spokes that look a bit like banjo strings. Like mine (above) and:
…which is also mine…
Which means I guess I have duelin’ banjos.

it’s from a late 1980 MGB . I’m also using a MGB steering column but using the TD turn signal switch on the dash. I modified a MGA horn button for it because it originally had a big rubber horn push that imho looked too new.
