The sure way to find it is to start at the driver’s side from wheel and trace the brake line until you get to the thing with all the other brake lines coming out of it. Checked internet.  Different sending unit for warning light.  So no more warning light since I have a gauge.

And a good question. I think the oil light has its own sending unit which is pretty much universal, and gauges have their own which have to match the gauge. But someone else might have the for-sure answer.

So, after already running a 180* thermostat and being surprised by how hot she runs, i pulled the thermostat and gutted it. In lieu of eliminating it I left the large flange in place and was left with a one inch hole to maintain a small bit of restriction to the flow. Hoping this helps.
