Can’t get anything locally except gas shocks. I remember that this was discussed previously on this site, but can’t locate it.

What are and where can I get regular old hydraulic shocks for the front of my VW TDr?

You can order the Cofap brand from your local NAPA #113413031EK (Line code ATM).
    They ship out of Indianapolis.

Ended up getting them on eBay. My old (God only knows how old) shocks were binding up. New ones – a much better ride.
I must have fallen asleep: when did gas shocks get so much cheaper than old fashioned oil hydraulic ones? Gas: found some for $20, hydraulics: $60. ???

I don’t remember, since I did not want gas shocks. I put EMPI #9651 in @ $64 from the V-DUBSTORE.com.
