I did that when I found out the price of one when I still had my TD…/Google :build Auto luggage rack” thats where I got the measurements to cut the PVC Then you paint it after a sanding to make the paint stick

Bill Collins2015-10-22 13:57:22April 2, 2014 at 2:02 pm #260039Also missing one of our Grill Badges.LOL. And I feel it was deceiving for the seller to call it a Tribute rather then Replicar.. I think the buyer may be in for a surprise when he finds out its not an original mgtd
March 3, 2014 at 3:20 pm #259671Paul sorry to here the loss of your Father and My Brother Mason..I see you picked a Good Funeral Director
I was in the Directors Staff of Salaam Temple with Mike Porter’s farther.August 2, 2013 at 4:42 pm #238562While I owned Angelica it also lived in a Portable Garage .(from ShelterLogic.Com).And i also told the insurer that it was in a locked garage. funny coince Huh:D
June 10, 2013 at 6:38 pm #236590Kent Thanks for the Heads-up…I think the matter is closed as the seller also removed the item from his catalog of Badges and he does have quite a collection. havn’t heard from the manufacturer yet but I’m sure i will as I have had other items made by them. IE:USMC Challenge Coins, Coasters etc
June 10, 2013 at 1:21 pm #236586I sent message to the Manufacture to see if they sold any to this guy in India and i also sent message to the EBAY seller .. I feel he is infringing on my design. I only had 100 made and still have at least 40 of them left. But the mold I paid for I thought was mine and mine alone. Seems to me there’s some sort of legal issue here.
June 10, 2013 at 12:43 pm #236584This is a shock to me …I started and designed (with help) the Badge ..Found a maker to make them. And not in New Delhi India.. How could this guy have Badges or is it just one he came across and is trying to flip
I will look in to it..As thats not right ..Thats our BadgeAugust 26, 2012 at 2:31 pm #236576I know we have a few Guest from outside the USA and Canada in the guest book.. been retired from full time work since 1995 WOW SIXTEEN YEARS But like
PGA64 said I’m more busy then when I was working full time . There just
isn’t enough hours in the day to do all ya want to do. lots a luck though.
and stay with us here on the TD site. The PinkMG has made it back to Alan
from him to you to me to Virginia and now back to Alan .. Maybe you should
get in the loop and take it off Alan’s hands AGAIN..Just kidding …enjoy
March 16, 2011 at 6:02 pm #243735Just caught the Ad myself .. How the heck did Alan get the car? It was on
sale last month then taken down ..Maybe Alan made the guy an offer off line
I notice someone took the LUCAs lamp covers ..They are very collectable and
hard to find.and cost an arm and a leg. And Alan brags about the Great heat
.. That was my work .. straight pipes to under the seats. Actually too much
heat ,,And if it still has only 5400 miles on the speedo if I remember right it
was in the low 5000s when I sold it two yrs ago.. And it had almost 5000
when i bought it from Mark..Ya after ten yrs its still looking good. Someone
will get a very good runner and holds the road good n stops on a dime
March 10, 2011 at 10:56 pm #243729Aww see he ended the Sale … Mayby realized with no reserve it
would sell low and he’d lose money.Or sold it locally? or renewed hi
interest like me… I was temped though… Till Eileen said NO WAYBill Collins40613.3937962963

November 24, 2010 at 10:28 am #243010Welcome Shane..Glad to read that one (MGTD Replica) was saved before
Someone decided that it was junk and had a trash dealer come for it .
Did you look around that garage for any parts that may belong to the car..
An unassembled kit sure can fill a lot of boxes. And any parts missing will be
a problem to find later . I sold my car and thought I had given the new owner
all extras I had BUT I’m still finding some some stuff I had bought and
planned on installing and never got around too and then forgot about . Thats
the senility of old age setting in I suppose
And just to add a plug –you being a new member of the TDREPLICA site
(Also saved from the junkman) hows about a club BADGE for the front of the
car. Shows you belong to an Elite group of MGTD owners..Picture of one in
the “Our Store” page.
