I had a close look at them and I think they are actually a 7″ light set way back in an oversized chrome housing.

Yay, Roy. You done real good, and NC is being reasonable here. $12,600 is just about right for a good running TD, and $5k is, I think, spot-on for an average, good running TD replica. Though yours is a little better than average, I think.

I use the torsion tube in front–can lift both wheels easily if I’m near the middle. In back I use either the torsion tube housing or the square tube subframe from the kit. While you’re there, might want to think about ripping out any wire that’s spliced more than twice and replacing with with a new wire. Could save some headache later on.
