Sorry, nothing let go. I’ve driven her since she got home and she seems just fine. We just lost traction in a section of track that wasn’t yet dried out.

The strange noises that you hear come from a remote mic that’s plugged into the GoPro. It’s stuck down into the rear body work in an attempt to eliminate the wind noise.

I am convinced that car broke and then crashed, not the other way around. I bet it’s that same rear track bar/locating arm that has let loose before.

Sunday morning, first run. The crash in turn 7 along with the recovery effort and the tow to the top.

Run 2. Saturday in the wet. Sideways in Turn 3 and a spin in Turn 8. Camera dies at the spin.

Yes, it was. Worked out pretty good, too. I had a dedicated support crew along with a standby ambulance with EMT’s and a tow truck.

I never got to the video Sunday. Spent the day trying to reclaim some working room in the garage.

Roy, I can’t answer that question, yet. I just got it sorted out on the Tuesday before the hill climb. The track conditions were terrible with the rain. Well, this is the end result. I had the radiator taken apart and re cleaned and installed a larger cooling fan. The fan will require some re engineering to mount the headlamp brackets together. We ran with no front body work. We did it…it works.
