Alright. Mother Nature decided to cooperate this weekend and we were able to get things done.

I really didn’t like all the washers to space out the existing engine mounts. I decided to go with an earlier Ford setup where the mounts used studs to anchor the engine before they went to that horizontal thru bolt.

Not a VW based owner, but such a minor cut should not produce any problems. It looks to be welded up nice and tight. Seats look comfy. Very good.

I’m registered for the hotel, signed up for the Saturday dinner and the winery tour, and registered at Carlisle.

Look for ways to trim the bottom inside of the seat instead. With a little luck, you’ll fit.
