Any horn works. A lot of guys go with the big Wolo “Bad Boy.” Some dudes have an air horn wired to the steering wheel for emergency “scare ’em outta the lane” use, plus a milder “toot toot” horn wired to a button for “hey baby, goin’ my way?” situations.

The weight bias shift should be minimal. The 2.3 was incredibly heavy. Yes, the extra power will take some getting used to. When I was considerably younger I built a 450 hp ’65 Mustang that would dance. I’m thinking this will be about the same.😁

Lots done Saturday. Old motor is now out and I’ll probably spend my spare time today cleaning. There is oil residue everywhere.

New motor has been ordered.

And done.

Shrunk it down, wrapped in ‘lectric tape and zip-tied to the main wiring loom to keep it from falling back down to where it got burned. Test-drive and all seems to be in order.

Ah, well-done, Andy. 20 miles in two years? This person is in for some shaming. 🙂 Hopefully he’ll redeem himself now!
