12 volts to it–there’s a terminal you have to hit while it’s running. Excite the alt.

I thought about that brass one. Apparently the same part is available via McMaster Carr. If this one fails again soon I’ll go the brass route. Karen and I got home about 6:30. Car’s shifting rotten but we made it OK. Total of about 260 miles today on 9 gallons. 11 1/2 hours on the road (and in the pub & at the ice cream shop, etc.). Good times. Thanks again to Vicenc and Charlene for lunch and  a great ride.
