Bill,Welcome, you will find lots of help here on the forum. Be very careful where you make your holes and cuts. I got a ford 8 inch from currie narrowed to 49 inches. Centers are easy to find.

I used a fatmans front suspension. They can narrow the cross member and the rack to fit your frame andor the track you want. Mine is narrowed to 48 inches.

Some more work done on the center console. I managed to put a tray toward the rear. It’s tacked in place now, a lot of tig welding to be done.

It’s been a while since posting, steady progress I guess. radiator support made, steering column and shafts with ujoints. and sheet metal work which I am learning as I go especially bead rolling the floor.The seat is a form to make from metal. This is for Flash,You may have a centered pinion yoke, sometimes ? one axle side is longer than the other. My 8 inch is that way so when it was narrowed I asked for centered pinion resulting in one axle longer than the other.I’ll post a photo on tommietd laterMelvin

Hi all,It’s been a while, so some photos of engine and transmission mounts.
Motor mounts uses the stock 2.3 mounts with about 1/2 inch sliced from the face and a flat plate welded,then sbc isolators bolted to the flat plate.I will not use the fan shown but will use electric. Weather not looking good for Friday, Carlisle but may show up on Saturday.Melvin
