Just saw it . How cool is that ? Maybe you could fill the tubes to firm them up . I have tried to use chrome paint never could get it to shine .

Yes, I do know that . I will be the first to tell you . When it comes to the computer I’m not good . I’m able to store music have to get my wife to do much more . Sometimes she doesn’t want to help so I take the easy way out as you probably know the more expensive, less annoying is the best way . Thanks!

You sound like me . I replaced all of the edge trim . What I did was pop rivet the ends and where needed around corners . I installed a new stereo and found 4 speakers at a garage sale . I bought a have sheet of underlayment carpeted it, cut circles for speakers , put on a hinge strip, a few wing nut for the top .Easy access now and it looks…[Read more]

Hagerty has a towing package you might want to consider . I used it 5 times the first year, once the second, two years now no tows . I have a small chip in the window that a car show deducted points so I plan on using it again.

Over the years raising a daughter has been very expensive as most know from ski racing , cars , college , wedding , down payment on a house . I guess I never thought one of my big expenses would come after all of the above .

I had the same problem . I took a small piece of wire wrapped it through the tab hole on each tab giving every tab a little extra length . I have to pry them off now . My rings are stainless steel . Would love to find a way to get a mirror finish .

Something happened to me this summer while I was at a car show .My pop up tent blew over and put a 1,000 dollar scratch in a hot rod . My home owners ins paid for it . A friend of mine skis were stolen while at a ski resort again home owners . No deductible no increase in ins cost. Maybe they cover something like this .You never know

Over the years I’ve had many question about my car such as Is this a Rolls Royce . Coming out of Home Depot a guy says is this one of those 200 thousand dollar cars I see auctioned on TV . One time I’m at a local grocery store a guy gets out of his truck started laughing and never quit ( I think he liked it )

I replaced all of mine bought it on the internet lots of places to buy there .You will need to pop rivet in some areas especially on corners . Use a center punch before you drill .

Just be prepared for all for all of the questions . Chances are you will be the only one there . I was at a car show this summer where a guy started telling me about his VW powered kit car . ( not a TDReplica ) Nothing he told me was so , except it was a VW engine . I believe it was his first show

Snowmobile shops also repair fiberglass . I understand that paint shops have thing thing they point at the paint so you can get an exact match anybody know about this?

Start it 2 times a month if you don’t drain tank . Something I do I buy low watt light bulbs and clip on lamps one on front bumper pointing back one on back pointing forward use a car cover all the way to the floor . We had -20 degree day car stayed above freezing .( My garage is insolated )

My London roadster weight is 1840 lbs including the extra weight welded into the front. Had to have it weighed for registration .

My car came without the bottom tin had lots of heat problems 230 degreessometimes higher , I bought tins . Never get above 200 degrees . I talked to a VW man he told me he used a car inter tube and used it to seal engine compartment anyone ever try this .

I’m a London Roadster owner. Mine is a coil over shock all 4 wheels . To me this sounds like a after market . Isn’t this something that T- bucket builders do. Aren’t the front coil over shocks hard to replace in a LR .

I have bought parts from Empi . I believe the don’t sell to you directly, they might be a distribution center . They might have a place in your area . Also there is Pacific J Bugs . Check out Craigs List for mechanic , go to car shows ,see who’s driving a VW aircooled ask them . They can help .
