You are the man Richard!Thank you for this offer! To anyone out there with any manufacturer’s assembly manual, please take advantage of Richard’s gracious offer. This is already the best TD replica resource on the net. Montie, you asked some other questions that I failed to answer. Sorry.Since tdreplica.com went live, the most we have had at Carlisle are two.Schu and I did park together, but mostly because we both know the people the Speedster Owner Group. If we were to have a bunch of TDs there in 2010, I would suggest we meet at the Speedster group location and…[Read more]

The badge is a TD Replica club grill badge. Go to the Photo Gallery, BillCollins folder to see pictures of the badges.Bill ordered them a few years ago on his own dime. It took three years to sell out the first batch. He is taking orders. But this time, he wants enough pre-orders (about 20) before he has them made. And yes yes yes, come to Carlisle!

Paul Mossberg replied to the topic HARDTOP ANYONE? in the forum General Discussion 15 years, 8 months ago
I emailed back-and-forth with the lister.
He confirmed it IS a hard-top.
These are VERY rare.
If you email Joe (the lister) he can provide home and cell phone numbers for the owner of the hard top.
I suggested he or the owner get an id here and post the top, pictures and measurements here in our classifieds. -

I hope it works out!PS: I like your signature. I remember the feeling the first time I turned the electricity on in my Duchess. Only one mis-wired taillight, and that was because of a change Classic Roadsters made between when they drew eh schematics and package the kit parts! And then when I cranked it over for the first time! Yes, I felt like…[Read more]

They are just 3/4 or maybe 1″ steel tubes bent to a “z” shape to match the engine cover. There are plugs in the ends like the plugs in the endof bike handlebars. The hinges are riveted through the splash pan into the steel sub-frame that surrounds the engine compartment.Under the engine cover there is a steel plate shaped sort of like…[Read more]

Leon,No. Mine are the Porsche 356 style “nipple” caps. (Not my name, that’s really how they are known.) About five years ago, I was able to get them with no Porsche or Wolfsburg crest. I drilled the holes, attached the TD medallions with cotter pins and I was done.I can find the nipple hubcaps now, but only with a Porsche or Empi crest…[Read more]

I saw them. The product number is 22863GI don’t think you want them. I’m pretty sure the embossed Empi logo is bigger than the MG TD center medallion.Might want to buy just one to check it out.
