Or…you could install a goat carrier on your running boards!
I believe this could be re-purposed as a luggage carrier.Safely hold your child on your lap and you will be good to go!

That’s an interesting option Montie.
I did some searching. This appears to be a Model A style rack, attached to a Baron (a Classic Roadsters Ltd. Mercedes replica, a four seat car which was based on the Classic Roadsters Marlene). Not sure I’d want to do this on my Duchess. But the advantage is it would not interfere with the bottom hinged Duchess… -

You can garage the car elsewhere, but you absolutely need to provide the actual garaging address to the insurer.
To not disclose that information is fraud. And if that garage did burn down with your car in it, your insurer is well within their rights, and within the terms of the contract, to deny the claim.I’m not a lawyer, but in a prior career… -

Ditto that. Did the same thing for my Duchess.
But if you really want to use original TD caps, you will have to have studs welded to your VW wheels to give the TD cap something to snap onto. Basically that’s how they attach to original TD wheels too.

We had two members in the old New Jersey Replicar club that had driven their TDr’s through all 48 continental US states. With their wives.
They were retired. And had taken two cross country journeys, one northern, one southern. Combined with “local” trips through New England they covered all 48.Both were front engine cars, Chevette based I believe.… -
