The wheel Paul linked is a Flat4. Good stuff; I put one on my Spyder. Also looks not dissimilar to the original TD wheel.
Here’s another source for something like it: https://www.amazon.com/MOTAFAR-Steering-Compatible-Speedster-Varnish-black/dp/B0BS3Q1JWP/ref=asc_df_B0BS3Q1JWP/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693605349091&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvran…[Read more]

I finally managed to fulfill a dream I’ve had for a long, long time. I’ve been competing in Hillclimbs for several years and have really wanted a chance to take my home assembled collection of various parts an a “real” track. The opportunity presented itself last month when I registered for a “Track Night in America” at Pocono Raceway. As I can’t…[Read more]

Hey Richard!
When I did mine, about 10 years ago, I bought a used ’73 Bug Speedometer, a white-face gauge kit, and a chrome bezel, then got a Classic Instruments tach in the 5-inch size to (sort of) match. This of course snowballed into a major dashboard refurb but it ended up pretty good imho and it was a fun project.

Just an FYI: I have listed my alternate Plastic Clown Car on PCar Marketplace. Please check it out and bid it up as you see fit, and inform any classic Porschephiles you may be acquainted with (particularly those with money) that this particular fake 550 is an unusually fine example of the marque.
Thanks to all.

Recently while housekeeping I stumbled on a cache of old VHS tapes. Most I threw out but there were a few worth saving. I dug out a known working tape player and invested in the software and the conversion device and managed to upload a couple to You Tube for safe keeping.
This is the one taken as I was initially building my MG. It’s from 1989 s…[Read more] -

Looks like I am in – my MC trip was moved to June and I just took the two days off for Carlisle. I still need to sign up for lodging and show field. Hopefully more people will show up this year.
