Ed,Just keep at it – baby steps – I am with you – July and 80 degrees and low humidity here as well and installing engine tin for my engine re-install. You are not the only one missing great weather.

I started w/ the heat tape and that helped but ended up going to a junk yard and using a SUV Cat shield and using stainless heat tape straps to strap it to my upper exhaust on top of the what I already put on – helped a lot

The National weather forecast only shows a chance of rain ( 20-30% )  both days and one of the days it’s chance of thunderstorms that may not even happen. Given that I finally have a top this year I don’t see it raining. On the other hand I might bring a EZ pop up tent to make sure it does not rain.
