I had a bonnet strap on my first kit car the 1929 Mercedes “Gazele”. It looked great and got a lot of complaments. It wore out since I had to unbuckle it frequently to access the gas tank for filling. Ill probably add one to Eliza Jane this spring.

Thanks for the feedback. The photos are great and a big help. Ill stick with what Ive got for now but Ill be keeping my eyes open for something better for long rides. So-Cal traffic is a nightmare and getting worse all the time. Last Friday it took me 3 hours to drive 75 miles! I cant get over how many people are moving to California.

My car has the bench seat from classic roadsters LTD. Id prefer the original looking seats from Moss but theyre really pricy for the whole set. Does anyone have them and if so how well do they fit for height and width? What is the purpose of the seat straps?

I too am a fan. I have a wish list and Im waiting for my wife to buy an expensive new purse so I can blow the budget and tell her that I got one too!

Just my two cents. My kit from Classic Roadsters LTD came with the bracket mounted on the underside of the bonnet. For those who dont have one Im thinking that one of those shelf support brackets might make a good substitute. They can be found at most hardware stores and cut to size. What do you think?

Yes mine was factory built and I have the blue Duchess badge on the top of the grill.

Very schwankey! I think those chrome stacks are really funnels to refill the rum and gin tanks. Thats where I keep mine 😆

I like the thinner shaft better too. It looks better than my old VW steering column. My old one looked bad and was a hastle to get the key in the ignition switch. I changed everything and im so glad I did.

Maybe The Green Goose will get a starring role in the movies. If theyre remaking Gohst Busters then why not Herbie the Love Goose?
