Not to burst your bubble.But I think they are different in size.I have an original as well as the one on my replica.The original will fit over the replica.

Mine is a CMC Pinto base and has the CMC brass plate under the dash #   M15xx.  Title reads the same.

VW’s don’t leak oil, they just mark their spot!

i have it in my watch list on ebay .

I thought all old cars leaked oil. Mine does.

 Dan, Are  you referring to the tail light assembly or only the lens? If I’m looking at the same item ,the light assemblys are $31.99 each. Still a good price. I’m thinking about  replacing the VW lights on my London Roadster and these are the most reasonable ones that I’ve seen.

I’m not aware of any serial number accompanying my kit.It’s been so long maybe there is one somewhere, but I’ve never seen it.I’ve also never looked.
