Nice going, Mel. I love it when our cars out-beauty the $75,000 masterpieces some of those other guys bring.

I think Flat 4 does a Banjo Steering wheel for VWs. Saw a black one on ebay not long ago.

I think it’d be great if everyone going to Carlisle had a TD shirt. It would show great unity with the folks in TDReplica.com.

Way to go Mel!
And Mark…I’m sure Sarasota (great name by the way) will do equally as well. You BOTH have great looking TDs. Someday, when I get my TD (Moneypenny) complete and on the road hopefully she’ll do as well too.

I could take a picture of the embroidery and wording under it, but my camera takes very high resolution shots and I’m unfamiliar with how to down-size them to be able to post on here. I might be able to do it in the camera, but I’ll have to play with it for a while.I’m thinking of a little variation on Ed’s proposition.I’d like to have my name…[Read more]

Just fired off this inquiry to Sheri:’I’d like the small MGTD (Q1035) on the left breast of a short sleeve denim shirt, size medium, in “natural.” “Ed” under the TD.Across the shoulders in back:”TDReplica: unmatched fun-per-dollar”–and yes there’ll be a few more of these, but getting the guys who want them to commit is a bit like trying to…[Read more]

Quite the donor for an unbuilt TD kit. Not good not knowing if it runs or not though.I’m watching to see what it does, but I won’t be bidding.:-)

Here you go. $130 and it’ll bolt right up to your adapter. Not a fan of the stainless rim but it shouldn’t be tough to get a leather wrap for that & you’re good to go. Only possible issue is it’s dished 2.125 inches.

Save that photo for next year’s calendar, John. It’s a keeper.Know what you mean about the attention. On Thursday I was out and about again with Bridget, knocking on doors in some Baltimore neighborhoods. It was around 3 pm and so some of the schools were letting out. The kids went wild. One girl asked me to stop so she could take a picture.…[Read more]

I discovered how non-leak proof my London Roadster was on my initial drive home. It rained in Seattle, in Oregon, and northern California until my windshield wipers died. Water was dripping and streaming on the inside of my windshield. Luckily, we don’t get too many rainy days in Phoenix, and fog is even more rare, but I still want my wipers t…[Read more]
