That there’s a real twin A-arm automotive suspension, bunkie! Nice. Mendaleoa (spelled wrong) gets quite a bit of scratch to put something that looks a lot like that in VW-based tube-framed cars.

Looks like my steel chassis. Factory built London Roadster. Same coilover shocks. Rear shocks inside coil spring suspension. front spindle’s ,rotors, brakes from a 66-71 squareback or fastback.
Car looks great.

Are your seat bottoms from the 95 Firebird as well? The look pretty comfy.

My guess is also fuel. Could be a restriction in the filter. They are cheap, – I’d change it. It could be the fuel pump. Also not to expensive. Could be that carb float is sticking up and not allowing fuel to refill the carb bowl. I’d clean the carb. Do these things and take her for another ride. My guess is that you will be OK.

John, I’m so envious right now, you’re driving around the beach and I look outside and see white fluffly stuff blowing in the wind, and it ain’t sand. Love the BRG color of your car too.

Greg: Running list of attendees is on this thread. There’s a fair amount of stuff to do in and around the fair grounds, but it’s mainly auto/show related stuff. Carlisle seems to have staked its economy on these weekly car shows, which run all spring and summer. In and around Carlisle there are also numerous antiques shops (Adamstown Antique…[Read more]
