I don’t think fiberglass is a winter job. Wouldn’t mess with it below 50.This guy says 60.But I don’t know much. Probably today there are cold-cure resins available. The innerwebs are our friend.

My seat bases are fiberglass boxes that have a speaker mounted in the front, facing forward, underneath the seats. Where do you have the entry of the heat ducts into this space, from behind through the rear wall? If I blew the hot air into there it would heat the seat up nice, then I need another opening into the passenger compartment, or I…[Read more]

50 percent positive feedback. . . .No grill shell. No interest on the seller’s part in finding out the MFG–prefers to air dirty laundry on ebay . . .Looks like a project for someone in PA–or maybe NJ or MD or NY at the farthest. I don’t think I’d pay to ship it, or trust this seller to wrap & load it with any care.Still, for like $200 it might be…[Read more]

Mark,
Check out the instructions for heat in the fiberfab manual in the download manuals section here on the left. It shows exactly how to do it. -
Paul Mossberg replied to the topic Adding heat in the forum VW Based Kits 13 years, 4 months ago
Easiest is to use insulated VW tubes and run the heat out under the seats.
Next easiest alternative is aluminum flex tube, from the heater boxes to under the seats.
Trust me, you can bake the passenger compartment this way.
The Speedster guys usually cut into the center tube, and run the heat though the tube to small outlets near the driver and p…[Read more] -

Mine also, is on the upper right of the fan housing. It really doesn’t matter where it is mounted, but mounting close to the generator keeps the length of the wire runs to a minimum and makes the most sense to me.

Mine is screw mounted to the fan housing with a small rubber gasket.

Mine is way up on the inside of the left rear fenderwell. Not sure why, but that is where Classic Roadsters assembly manual said to mount it.

The band (about 150 students) and the pit crew (the parents that move all their equipment) will be there. So yes, I’ll be on the field to see them perform.Details are still unfolding. But we suspect we won’t see much of the game.
We’ve been in the stadium before. There is a “below decks” passage that
circles the entire stadium at the field level.…[Read more] -

I have a post or two about my journey home with my first MG TD London Roadster. I used up my remaining AAA service and tow calls on my way home, but it’s a trip I wouldn’t trade for anytime soon.I hope you have good luck on your trip and look forward to reading about and seeing some photos of the voyage.
