All,
Well, yesterday at 4:15 EST lil’ red rolled on to a car transport headed for Oklahoma City. The truck driver immediately fell in love with the car and said he wanted to put it up right behind the tractor so it would be protected. Nice. I have to admit there was a definite heart tug.
On the positive side, this was a smooth EBay transaction…[Read more] -

Sorry Dale. I was thinking we had a shot at getting Mossberg to this, and maybe Mark. Also, I happen to know Stoney’s & think it’s an appropriate spot. The fish & chips there are good. The Brandywine valley has some real nice roads too. So I’m still keen to get a group there.*B: There’s no risk of diluting attendance to an event that, so far, has…[Read more]

And I thought a regular tap would rethread a pre-threaded hole without removing much or any metal. Not so?

At the risk of diluting attendance at the Lord Pothingham’s Bubble and Squeak, (I never could keep those British pub names straight), why not try to have the event in more than one location? A couple of cars here, a couple there and we have a real event linked by speaker phones the tables. That might encourage more to show up next year. Who’…[Read more] -

Surely there is a date that we all can get together on. One weekend for the sake of letting the world know we are here and can join in the fun too. How about posting somewhere locally that we exist. There has to be others in your local that have TD replicars that do not know who or where to get in touch with us. A flier would be good. Let’s go guys.

Beautiful dash !! Are those duplicates of the back of each gauge with the wires attached in the respective positions?
That’s a neat console also. -

I’m a proud former marching band member (several, actually) and DCI fan with a neice who was Drum Major in high school and marches with the Texas Christian University (TCU) who took the Rose Bowl this year. It was great to see her in the Tournament of Roses Parade and the Rose Bowl Half-time show.I probably can’t afford the time for another…[Read more]

HI guys and gals,I made it to the Square Dance Convention in Detroit, then a long day to get to Brooklyn, NY. I left with only my GPS and no maps for planning my routes, but getting to my destinations were top priority and required all of my time driving each day. On my way back west, I’ll have a little easier schedule and would love to see Br…[Read more]

I saw a convertible top wind deflector on a Fiat in the latest episode of Top Gear. The host’s long hair wasn’t blowing around.
Screen is 40-3/4″ wide at bottom, 14″ high.

in Winchendon, MA. I’ve see this car and it is beautiful. It needs a lot of polish and elbow grease to get the shine back but it’s doable. The top has tears in it. I wish I had the extra cash, I’d…[Read more] -

Thanks all, I wasn’t sure of the aspect ratio of the 145’s, but on a
conversion chart I found online, they used to be 82, so the 165 is a
little less than 1 1/2″ taller than the 145, or less than 5/8″ closer
to the fender which I don’t think will bother me but I have to measure
the clearance to the fender to be sure.FYI, here is the data from…[Read more] -

I checked again, the complete code is DOT BFJ7 AF1458.. Ed your prob right on the “98. This is the old spare off Audrey. Sure a shame to trash these tires, all 5 still look new, even still have the little nubbin’s on them. Better safe than, well, most anything else when it comes to tires. Guess they would make really good tire swings. Montie
