I made up a trailer hitch for my Ford based MGTD this year.  Only to pull a small sailboat (Force 5).  The hitch is on the car but I haven’t road tested it yet. 
To many other things to play with, if I had one more wife I wouldn’t get anything done 🙂

Looks like some of the clubs do SCCA-sanctioned events on the regular. Maybe a few of us can join one or two of those & get the hang of it. I’ll email around and see what comes up.

I was going to suggest the same thing…motorcycle trailers.Paint ’em to match your car.

Cool idea. What you’d want would be the back 1/4 of another kit body. But the TDs with trailers I’ve seen have used just a rectangular wagon. In Georgia if the vehicle is older than 15 years the won’t title it. They just use the VIN and make a new registration but no title.

i’m not sure what the laws are where you live but the records for many states only go back 10-15 years therefore any vehicle not registered in that time period is dropped from the records. You then can go to the state patrol or dmv depends on who does the vehicle inspections and tell them that you lost the title and its been sitting so many years…[Read more]
