My FiberFab has a big “FF” logo molded into the cowl under the hood. That and finding a copy of a receipt from FiberFab under the seat made mine easy to identify. Failing that … you have to post pictures.

The better (and more) pictures you post, the more information about your TDr you will receive.I can almost guarantee you that we’ll figure it out.

I used a tape that was somewhat clear and really tough with a very sticky adhesive to repair an awning on a camper I had. It worked so well, I never did replace the awning. The tape you are describing sounds like the same thing I used.
If the top material is still sound, it should work just fine for a temporary fix. The appearance will not be… -

Welcome to our group!
You have a very nice car!
About driving in the cold… I live in central Illinois, so our weather is about the same…Being an old motorcycle addict, I just get out the old leather jacket, hoodie, riding gloves, goggles and hat.As long as it’s sunny and dry I hit the road.Warning…you’ll get some WEIRD looks! People act like…[Read more]

Thanks all.
@ LRH – I was critiquing the tear in the roof today and moving around the ribs (that’s the reason why the top looks wonky in a few of the pictures). Put a few stitches in it to test how strong the canvas was in general and it unfortunately is not. I’m looking at a “marine application-type” tape (think sail repair or bimini top r… -

These replicas are so close to the real thing that nothing is going to fit perfect.

Original headlight brackets is a great thing to see on these cars, and that folding windshield too. Hope you can get your convertible top fixed, I’ve been noticing that tear at the bow from your other pictures.

“The latches snap like an overloaded suitcase when I open the hood but I figured that could be the way it’s supposed to be.” Yes, that’s the SPPPRRRUNGG! that I was talking about. And the shape of the front of your hood looks a lot like mine before I cut it back. However, your hood still seems to fit better, especially at the back. I think abo…[Read more]

Upper front corners of my hood are raised slightly, I had remembered. Wasn’t sure just how the overall fit was so I got the camera out for a couple pictures. (side panel is blacker in these flash pictures!)
Here’s the windshield end:I could see the rubber seal behind the widest gap, near to camera there, but hidden in this side view.Obviously… -

OMG, you totally owned me! I laughed so hard I cried. I wish that wasn’t me, but it is … and I apologize for being a downer here. I just wish I had enough experience to know what to expect, and the serenity to accept that. Your post helped, but the only real cure is to get the car down to the upholsterer and painter so I can actually drive…[Read more]

John, not sure if this helps with your problems. But, I really need your advice on a serious problem. I have suspected for
some time now that my wife has been cheating on me. You know, just the usual
signs: The phone rings and when I answer, the caller hangs up. Plus, she goes
out with ???the girls” a lot. I usually try to stay awake to look out…[Read more] -
