Update to the Carlisle itinerary.
Thursday, May 11, all are welcome to join me on The Bank Run.
Leaving the Courtyard by Marriott in Camp Hill at 9:45, we’ll take a spirited hour-and-15 minute tour over country roads to the First National Bank Museum in Columbia, PA, where Nora (daughter of the original museum conservators) will give us the $10…[Read more]

Welcome.
The diff in your car shouldn’t be hard to replace. Scour junkyards for something of similar widths. Most TD kits utilized the Chevette or Pinto/MustangII. Check the mounting pad distance at the spring, although this would be easy to change. The other thing to keep in mind is the bolt circle of the wheels you’re using. Make sure the axles…[Read more]

There’s always more to do, Mike.
While the tank’s out, make sure you inspect the steering column crush cage minutely. These are great safety items but after 50-60 years they tend to crack from metal fatigue—particularly if they’re not perfectly in line with the rag joint and the steering box…which they almost never are.
You never see it. At l…[Read more]

First you go to your own thing. Upper right corner it should say something like “Howdy, Happy Jack.” Click on that and you get a drop-down menu. At the bottom it says “media.” Hover over that with your curser an…

Thanks all. Bill tells me the normal Hotel (Courtyard Marriott in Camp Hill) does not yet have a Speedster Special deal. Al Merklin of the Speedster group is on it, so registration and (possibly) a reduced rate should be set fairly soon.

Hey folks, how many can we count on for Carlisle this year?
My old droogie Alan Merklin, who has traditionally handled accommodations, Is asking about it over on The Speedster board.
He wants an idea of the head count so the hotel knows how many rooms to set aside.
