its not that hard to do yourself the samba.com or youtube can show you how . Any shop that does vintage VW cars can do it. keep us informed on how it goes
with key off take test light & check . that will tell you which circuit is hot all the time . then take the fuses out turn key on check each end of where the fuse connects that will tell you which is supply to the circuit . also pull the supply (hot wire ) to the coil when you test with key on so you do not burn the points out . I would not trust wire color unless you made the harness .

there are only 4 connections usually negative (ground) positive (power) signal (comes from ignition coil where the dist . wire connects ) & power for light you can probably look up the info from the tach . brand’s website keep us informed on your progress
Glad to be of service . I have a few bits of the old car left . My Duchess has been running good . I like going to cruises & showing people there are more options than a mustang , nova or camaro lol
