Ringo and all that answered my Question  I guess I was to ” cheep” my wife’s quote  this time I replaced that cheep pump with a Procomp, Electronics , brand all metal and 4X heaver than the MrGasket . Brass inards and polished body it is almost sad to hide it under the car.  Dan R

I think it is a good idea, from the look of it ,the material looks light, and maybe a small 5 HP. may work well. the only thing is the cost of the material.   Dan R

Good Job, I just did my 1.4 this fall #3 must be a trouble cylinder mine also was low . I had the head rebuilt at a local machine shop ,all working good now. I was thinking of replacing the exhaust manifold ,do you think that it would be worth it ? The cost is negligible time and trouble is the question. Dan R

Gary, Hi , Like everyone has said you are starting on a great hobby when you fine your kit it will come with a frame, what ever you find Ford or Chevette powered , you can always use any doner you want or find, with a blank slate and a welder ..  Dan R
