March 28, 2021 at 11:11 am #307528Yours is much better. Never understood the 90 degree turn in the fill tube.
March 12, 2021 at 6:06 pm #307492Thanks, that is what I thought but wasn’t sure how involved it might be.
March 12, 2021 at 9:31 am #307489Have added pictures of my Ford based MGTD in my profile. Would like to see it go to someone who will use and enjoy it. It rarely gets on the road and i hate to see it just sit there. Will make someone a great deal on it

January 31, 2020 at 8:55 pm #306484I have a Ford based CMC kit and could use the hood if it fits. What are you asking for it.
August 22, 2017 at 9:42 am #303928I am interested if you still have these. Can you text pictures to 904 571 0026. I am in Jacksonville, Fl
May 13, 2015 at 7:33 pm #263338Do you still have the seats?
thanksFlip904 571 0026February 20, 2015 at 9:05 am #263163Very helpful, thanks. Did you use connect the lower support to the frame using the threaded holes in the frame as suggested in the manual or weld directly to the frame?.
I am planning on getting a Mishimoto Honda Civic radiator because of the size and this mounting method should work for me. For now am planning on keeping the belt driven fan. Do you think this will be a cooling issue?
If you have a picture of how you tied in the upper mount to the headlight brackets that would be great
February 18, 2015 at 7:32 pm #263160How did you mount your Honda Civic radiator? Looks like its size would be a good fit for the small space. A picture would be great as I expect I will need to fabricate mounts.
Thanks
February 13, 2015 at 9:06 pm #263159Unbelievable. I now see that I purchased the heavy duty radiator which is 4 inches wider than the one you referenced below. When I check at Orielly’s both come up for the later years Pinto. I didn’t notice the different dimensions when I purchased the first one thinking more cooling would be better here in Florida. I really appreciate you solving this for me.
Think I will try to sell the wider one on fordpinto.com.
Thanks again
February 13, 2015 at 12:12 pm #263157I followed the manual instructions including cutting the front flange off but even with that the radiator is still several inches too wide. The radiator I purchased is a 1979 Pinto direct replacement and the width is 20 1/4. I maybe have 17 or18 inches at the most. Perhaps there were two different Pinto radiators but all I found was this wide one.
I will look at the Honda civic suggested below. Anyone need a new Pinto radiator missing the front flange?

February 3, 2015 at 11:44 am #262259Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. My address is 704 Shipwatch Drive Jacksonville Fl 32225. I will pay you a fair price for the headlight brackets Thanks
On my original post regarding the fake chrome radiator cover, all I am missing is the radiator cap and mount. Fortunately I have all of the remainder.

September 25, 2014 at 5:28 pm #261584Thanks for the comments. I think I will put them under the dash in a easy place to service. Do you use relays for the headlights? Plans I have don’t suggest one is needed.
May 29, 2014 at 5:19 pm #260426Thanks for all the comments. Need to get a torch to do some serious bending!
May 29, 2014 at 5:11 pm #242329did you ever find a solution to your pedal placement issue. I have a similar problem with my Ford based car.
