You can loop the cable and double clamp it to make it the correct length or cut it and double clamp it to splice it back together. Small U Clamp’s. Allow for some adjustment at the clutch arm. The clamps should be between the cable tube and the clutch arm.gbidick2013-08-29 08:16:15

Paul, The way I look at it, if they built the LR (unenclosed) it must be ok, I never had a problem.

the side curtains on the LR can be operated from the inside of the car. You can unzip and also latch the front to the windshield.

I got mine at tirerack.com and had no problem’s. Seems like most tire’s are manufactured in China and their quality needs vast improvement.
