Had a similiar problem with my Allison with the auto shut off not working. The Allison is a little different in that the filler is the radiator cap. Yep you guessed it. Fuel spilled down my freshly polished grille. Fortunately it wasn’t very much.

The spinner nuts are marked “OFF” with an arrow in the direction. They also have a little ? shaped keeper to keep the spinner from backing off. This is my first set of knock off’s so I was just wondering how tight to make them. Didn’t want to over do it if you get my drift.

Dan, would you post a pic of your wheel covers.
I have the real deal wires in a knock off rim but they need much TLC so I was thinking of running wheel covers till I can get these back in the shape they should be. I’d like to see what you and others have done.

I need a new top as well as mine is dry rotted and torn. I was thinking of taking it to a marine top maker to have one made. Matching the tan of the side curtins may be a little difficult however.

The plackard I think you are referring to is the electrical components cover. It is stock with the Allison. It’s a smoke colored plexiglas panel with the electrical components labeled on the face and the components tucked away behind it.
