My dream…..is to have a large garage!!

My garage was added in 1918 to fit a Model T coupe….exactly.:?

If you pull in, you can’t open the car doors. Wacko

    Donna,

My wiper switch stem was not long enough either, so I carved a pocket in the backside of the wood dash for the switch body to rest, and it works perfectly.

Thanks Larry, good to be back…..and with a computer. Look at the home page on that link.

    Whata garage
Having those windows really would help. I don’t know how accurate the replicas are in relation to the original tub of the TD. To the eye, they look the same. Don’t know about a hardtop fit between the two. Maybe Bill has the right idea, parka and helmet.
On my other ride, the removable hardtop is fabulous, and it has portholes on the sides that I don’t use for viewing. It is very nice in the winter, but that car has roll-up glass also.

My other sports car has a removable hardtop which is awesome in winter (only).

    Here are some here
Some pics here (not on replicas)….

58, I think…..always have to do the math….yep, 58…..I still have to do the

alphabet song to get stuff in the right order…and most of my exercise is

getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom….my knees

buckle but my belt won’t….all the names in my little black book have M.D.

    after them…..still, it’s all good…

The work I have seen by the Amish has been outstanding . They really care

about the details and a job done right. Not many Amish around Memphis. We

do have some rednecks that could make a dandy top from duct tape.

The measurements for the Fiberfab are here.

This may give you an idea of the size relative to your replica. This frame mounts to the inside and not on top of the tub.

I bet he didn’t get his photo taken for the paper. Greg should have stuck with the TD.
Is this your second time as a headliner, or third?
Do you know how many TD’s are in the Villages? I have seen some ebay ads in the past for TD replicas in the Villages.
Too bad you missed all the bad New York weather this year.

I am the one with the tire stepper on the spare in Ed’s post. I actually hauled

a steamer trunk on it. I found a chrome one that I plan on buying this

summer. The folding stepper has worked great for me.

    Mel,

I actually found a new top with side curtains on ebay for $200. It was still wrapped from the factory and still had the protective paper on the clear plastic parts. It was a fortunate find, but took 2 months of searching ebay for one to show up. It fit perfectly and can be seen in my photos section.
