Impressive list of owner cars! Although terribly lacking info for S/N or VIN. heh-heh 🙂
Seeing the following is at least something… to me.Rich Kallenberger (Kall) 1985ish Fiberfab (serial number FM 1775)Mine being FM1307 titled August 1984 sure doesn’t help much either, and… -

I like it! My car has the TD emblem on the fake radiator instead of the MG I see on most others. Wished it had been MG but getting used to that TD on there, maybe more unique… or maybe not.

Good deal for that one, less than $900 I paid for my VW version. You have more going for it than mine such as wire wheels, automatic and much newer stuff.

Great to hear, I’m glad to have helped some. Seems such a minor thing to me, just so bureaucracy is satisfied. At least it will be a pretty VIN plate.

Ah, got me for just a moment! I skipped past the top, jumping down to the blue part. I mean, hey, there was that “cash for clunkers” thing once.

Mine is only 1 5/8″ X 3″, smaller than a business card and much smaller than a credit card. For whatever reason, they left the model type blank.
BTW picture isn’t face on or square because it has a mirror finish, being like… -

Here’s one I found ‘net searching, it’s a Gazelle. Maybe the same style, replacing the name with MG TD?
The one I have is just from Fiberfab and not mounted yet, plan to put below the windshield under the hood and above Beetle gas tank.LRH2015-07-06 14:50:44

I have a title dated March 27, 1984, signed by a VP of Fiberfab, Rita M. Wallach, and found info showing her directly related to Fiberfab International, Inc. and Southeastern Classic Cars, Inc.Here’s the web page:LRH2015-05-28 22:01:08

That’s definitely a fine looking Thunderbird, however my preference is the early 1960’s version. And I always feel I’m in a minority regarding that.

Yeah Royal, I think so. Was a first attempt back then, I had put the putty onto the threads that time and it leaked anyway.
I discovered small slow leaks at the edge seam in a couple places after that, those are still okay. But when I retired the putty on the outlet nut i added a double layer to the outside, letting it cure between applications.… -

Oxygen be damned!
Makes me think the undercoating might have either had some surface rust when applied, got through from the other side or the undercoating itself failed somehow (too thin? cracking? scuffed?).My car was undercoated and I haven’t given it much thought, so I need a look at it too! -

Thanks all, reading more about both things (visors+wings) if I can still use the convertible top I can move onto getting them. Looks like my windshield frame is okay for it.

😆 Yep, these sealed beam headlights are mediocre at best. To think everyone had them decades ago. That’s why I use high beam as much as possible, albeit I’ve only driven it after dark a few times.
From what I can tell the yellow fogs don’t do much at all (nothing??) for distance seeing, just illuminate the road near the car well enough to see… -

Looks good! I’ve been wanting to add sunvisors and windwings to my car.
I’m a little skittish about parade driving right now, aside from the air-cooled VW engine stuff: potentially large number of pedestrians crowded along the streets. But I guess since I managed to get out of the huge weekend event here today, car show included, with people walking… -

My car had a pair of yellow fog lights when I got it and I prefer yellow over clear for a reason I’m not sure makes sense, but I like the idea anyhow. Being seen by other drivers. I know it has been something talked about by some motorcyclists, using a colored headlight instead of just white. However, modulated lights might be more reasonable for…[Read more]

Can’t disagree that they’re really nice wheels! I just couldn’t see getting any for my car, finding any of them to be a large portion of the car’s value!
