Okay, I’m signed up on Shutterfly now. Got there only with your 2nd link. Which could be both a good thing or bad. It seems to be in a raw editable form, so I think changes could be made by mistake if not careful.

I couldn’t get to buying the calendar, which might be another problem. The $24.95 link does nothing and the little dropdown box there…

Posted my reply too soon, now seeing you have tried to link to the finished product.

Bad news is, it asks for account name or email and a password. None of your links were able to get me in to see the calendar itself, sorry to say.

    That can’t be good!
Glad you’re doing that, not me. Probably something to do with those high quality printable pics you asked for. 😆  Although a web-based thing lasting more than an hour is probably always going to be iffy at best anyway.
I sure hope it can get done sooner than later for your sa…

  • That sure would be a better way to see it, people actually there picking food off it. I think I would feel sorry for the car, confined to a building and not outside where it should be. Cry😀

Oh yeah, and just occured to me it has a Pope-mobile kind of thing going on. Glass (or plexiglass) top would be the ultimate convertible sunroof.

Oops. Yeah, I wasn’t thinking of an actual TD compared to VW Beetle.

    Embarrassed

I sure didn’t know the VW was an inch wider at the front wheels than rear, or real TD a few inches narrower.
That’s something I think of as being equal since I don’t know about wheel track. Only pay attention to wheel base if anything.
  • Bob replied to the topic Profile drawing in the forum VW Based Kits 9 years, 8 months ago

Well that’s interesting. I was under the impression that the VW Beetle chassis, wheel base and all, was left unchanged for these kit cars. You know, old bug body pulled off, new kit body put on. Nothing else.

Although, I had seen some talk of making changes like narrowing the front end. But not until after the car is already put together.
    Guess I…

  • Cool stuff. I would want to go see it in person too, and I’m a couple states closer, but driving this old car of mine that far would make me so nervous I don’t think I could enjoy it.

So I will just wish you a perfect drive instead!
Found out you can look around inside that place thanks to google maps, so here’s the car location itself. Then you can…

At first I wasn’t thinking about the time of year going with the pictures and then I did start to think about it. Mostly because I realized how January looked more like October or November, and October’s picture looked like late springtime or early summer to me.

    😉
However, given what you had to work with I don’t see any way you could arrange them…

  • Bob replied to the topic engine Info in the forum VW Based Kits 9 years, 8 months ago

The VW engines don’t always have the same number of tailpipes.

Look under the alternator (more likely than it being a generator), next to the oil filler, below the stand where it mounts on top of the engine. Don’t be confused by the stand base itself where you will see 1-4-3-2 which is the spark plug firing order.
    Alphanumeric code usually exists…

    Does that describe your experience?
No. Wish it were. It’s more like something keeps taking it away and making it difficult to get back to be able to type again.
    Requires a double-click (or rather a double-tap on touchpad) to…

  • A few months ago at a car show I parked next to a ’62 Pontiac Catalina used in the movie Selma, owner has paperwork about that. Was painted for the movie and used for scenes done inside the car, requiring a door to be removed (later put back on).

  • Well, I was going to see if I could get a more complete error statement and now it doesn’t show when I try to get it. Whether that means it’s fixed or just a quirk of how the error happens is probably anybody’s guess.

What I was wondering is if that lost caret thing might be what the other people were having trouble with. Maybe thinking they needed…

    Apparently nothing wrong for me.
Only problem I’ve been having is with a disappearing caret (text cursor) if I try to move it to another place for editing purposes. No definite way to know when it will do that. Just makes getting…

So you might want to give that list a look, if you haven’t yet, to try and narrow it down based on what you…

Gee. I haven’t done anything like that since I was a teenager 40 years ago and it was with colored incandescent bulbs!
I would check voltage at the speaker output first just so you know the range it is depending on the volume level.
And most importantly, remember that LED’s are diodes and so polarity (+ and…

  • Yes both sides. I was just showing the passenger side.

  • This should be like yours.
I have a ledge along back of seat box, probably for seat, heat duct tube is on the door side (same as Paul’s).
The hole for the tube is a flat area next to that ledge where it drops down and maybe ends there, seen where the carpet is separating. I didn’t pull the carpet up to actually see, only feel under it.
    And picture…
