I rarely have the top up, using the side curtains is even rarer.  Although we do get some cool nights in the winter.

The engine is a 2.3L Pinto with  exhaust from the original builder York Sports of Ashland  Va.
I enjoy the Automatic, with the tight cockpit I can’t imagine how the 4 speed folks can work the clutch.
They saw wife and I at local cruise in and made me an offer my ego couldn’t refuse.

They are standard offset from MG Magic.  I found a beautiful set on ebay with knock-offs for a close  price.  But being retired I kept up with the simplicity theme and went with MG Magic wheels.
I’m real happy with them, MG centers are from Moss.  We ground off the posts and used industrial auto body cement to attach them to the spinners.

Wire Wheels are from MG Magic, centers are from Moss Motors installed on spinners  by grinding off the center post and cemented on with industrial body cement.

Think this is the 3rd time I made the paper.  I think Greg regrets selling hsi TD but he isn’t the type to admit a mistake.
I believe currently there are 3 TD replicas in The Villages.  My red, Greg’s old maroon and a tan. 
Got to admit I really miss the Rain, Snow, and Freezing Cold, it get’s boring with the warth and constant sun.

Greg has gone over to the dark side with his falcon convertible.

Boot cover goes from back of the seats rearward and will cover the top went it’s down.  I think you are thinking of a tonneau top
 

If anyone is interested in the car in The Villages I would be happy to check it out for you.  The owner and I belong to the same Car Club and we have mutual friends.
Any comments I feedback will be totally impartial but I might be able to provide some insights into the sellers motivation.
