What do you mean by “newer?” As far as I know, the VW Beetle’s chassis (aka pan) kept the same wheelbase from the 1940s through the end of production circa 1979, and the later Mexican/Brazilian cars were also the same: 94.5 inches. Booked the Oceanfront Inn. Rate on the hotel website for a room with two full beds was $149, so all in it was like $343 for two nights. I looked at the Hilton Garden and it was $230 per night.

If these are VW pan cars there’s not too much that can be done. I don’t think VW bucket seats will work without modification, because the seat placement on a TD replica is about where the back seats on the bug were. The way the pan and the tunnel are shaped, you don’t have the width to put the stock bucket there.
