That Flat 4 is about the closest thing to an original TD wheel you can get without modding an original TD wheel.

wish I could make it up for that but I am slammed: neither the car, the garden, nor the 4-post lift is yet ready for action. All needs doin’, along with a dump run, an oil change on the truck and probably a half dozen other chores I can’t even remember right now. Dang!

They both are available more reasonably elsewhere.

I wear glasses all the time. Mine are not enough for me to avoid the sting of the wind when driving open. I may just have sensitive eyes though.

I’m gonna try to make the meet. Right now I have a DR appt that ends at 11, so it might be a tight run out to Frederick…

Cool but remember this: if you drive around with the Brooklands screens as the only thing between you and the oncoming wind, you’ll probably want at least a pair of wrap-around glasses on your face as well. Every year I forget at least once and end up on the highway doing 50 with monster pain and squinting and then one eye closed and then the other. 

Sounds exhausting to me. Glad you’re on the mend. I second your screening advice. Wife made me do it years ago. No problems found them but I guess I’ll get to do it again in a few years.
