VW tow bar is the ticket.  When I was playing with dub’s I towed them 500 plus miles no problems.  You don’t even know the car is behind you.

I’ve heard the 2 most important things to have in your tool box is duct tape and WD 40.  If it moves and its not suppose to…. “duct tape it”… If it doesn’t move and its suppose too… spray it with WD 40..

Oh I forgot all about it, sorry.  Dec was built by CMC in FL 1986.  Ford drive train.  I’m her second owner, lots of personal updates since I bought her 3 years ago, seat bases, engine dress-up, mostly minor details for me.  Picture taken in my front yard, while putting up Christmas decortations.

Roy, thanks for the tip.  I was going to ask my transmission shop guy.  He’s got lots of my $$$ thru the years, hoping for a little free advice, he will have “Audry” is the early spring for a check up anyway. 

I’m gonna try again this year.  Money and shoulder surgery was a issue last year.  Saving toward it now and if nothing happens between now and then.  Probably going to tow mine to at laest the motel though.  Lookin for a trailer or dolly or??  Having a automatic may be a issue with a dolly, someone said tow with rear wheels up but I’ve never seen it done.

Ed I think I’ve seen that artical before.  Neet stuff.. 
 I had to look at the map to see where that guy was in PA.   Between the storage issue, the distance to get them home and the fact my better half would prob   me, I better quit thinking about them.  She’s pretty understanding but another huge project setting around might be pushin it.
