Hi all,
It’s been a while but I’m back. To make a long story short, I sold Montse I because I could not find a reliable VW mechanic in South Florida and, not being too mechanically inclined, I kept making a hash of things. I’ve been looking for a replacement, a front engine BCW or Alison and was finally able to find one in California. So he…[Read more]

Someone just messaged me today that he has an MG TD replica with a Ford Drivetrain. I could not figure out how to reply to him. Maybe he will respond here.

The outside of the car can easily be cleaned with a Spray-on wash. I like the Griot’s Garage products and microfiber cloths. I have cleaned my wire hub caps with Griot’s Iron and Fallout remover. For glass, I like Invisible Glass that dries streak free.

Welcome aboard. I flew up to Seattle to pick up my first MGTD replica, a London Roadster on Port Townsend, Washington. I drove most of the 1,151 miles back to my house, with an new adventure every day. I got to within 50 miles from home when she needed a tow to get home in Phoenix, Arizona. It’s a trip that I won’t soon forget.

Thanks. The front end seems to be heaviest. Do you keep 28 all around?

My FiberFab car was featured in a TDR calendar several years ago. I’m trying to figure out what tire pressures I should be running in it. It has a V8 engine up front and an automatic transmission. If I recall, it has a Vega front end and a Nissan (Datsun) 260Z rear end. What else could help me determine the tire pressure for this car?

MGLondonRoadste replied to the topic Hows about a West Coast meet? in the forum General Discussion 4 years, 10 months ago
I fully support a West Coast Meet. I drove my London Roadster from Port Townsend near Seattle, Washington to almost Phoenix, AZ when I got her.
I will probably need a new top for her and I need to finish her rebuilt engine install, yet the Fall is already busy for us.

It sure sounds fun, yet it should be hit and humid in Pennsylvania in August. Maybe someday I will be able to attend this event with you all.

MGLondonRoadste replied to the topic convertible top for Fiberfab in the forum Site 5 years, 2 months ago
My Fiber Fab will need a new top if I ever get her running again. I never came with one when I got her. I let her sit too long without running her and I have a big job of trying to get this engine started again. I’m taking one project at a time, and the London Roadster is first on the list. I may need a new top for it, as well. Luckily there is…[Read more]

California Car Cover, and I think Cover King, make cover for a 1952 MG TD.
